Our Real Viejo silver project is located in an area of substantial silver-lead-zinc mineralization in northern Sonara, located approximately 10 km from Planchas de Plata.
- Initial drilling took place in 2005. Drill intercepts included:
- 26.7 meters averaging 71.8 grams per tonne silver at a depth of 14.3 meters
- 698 grams per tonne silver over 2.15 meters.
- A drilling program is scheduled for 2008 to offset and expand on mineralization identified in 2005. If the drilling is successful, Minefinders will move forward with a resource study.
