The Company is dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship. For two consecutive years, Compania Minera Dolores S.A. de C.V (Minefinder’s wholly-owned subsidiary) has received an Empresa Socialmente Responsable (“ESR”) certificate.

In order to be ESR certified, a company is evaluated on:

• the quality of life of its employees within the company
• its ethical standards; relations between the company and the community
• the company’s policies regarding protection and conservation of the environment

In addition, CMD was also certified as a “Clean Industry” by PROFEPA , the federal office for environmental protection in Mexico, pursuant to its National Environmental Audit Program.
